The Atomic BC1 BCD is designed for the roughest ocean environment. Creating the toughest BC in the world requires unique materials. The BC1 is created using exclusive engineering grade plastics, polyurethane-coated fabric, and corrosion-resistant metals. The unique, attractive double-laminated/coated BC1 fabric actually sheds water like a raincoat – a DRY BC. This strong fabric holds nearly double the pressure of standard BC materials. It is virtually impermeable and resists abrasion, tears and punctures. Self-cleaning, UV and stain-resistant, it also resists chemicals, mold, rot and mildew.
